Dina Meyer was born and raised in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, but moved to Dix Hills, Long Island, just before her last year in junior high school. Her two brothers are Gregory, her older brother as well as Evan. It was her first position in the industry. The model was employed between the ages of nine and sixteen. Ron Stetson was her teacher at The Neighborhood Playhouse where she began studying Sanford Meisner's acting techniques for approximately three years. The other actors who received such education include Sandra Bullock, Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum, Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton, as well as other people. After moving into Los Angeles, she got her first role in Beverly Hills, 90210. Within the following couple of months, she was offered the part in the role of Johnny Mnemonic.
